What we've been up to lately!

We spent a lot of this Month working with our set design company www.thornindustries.co.uk at Chelsea Flower Show and we've been in talks with 'The World Freestyle Dance Championships'  at Blackpool Winter Gardens to design their stage set!  What a venue to work in!!

We've supplied our props to some really great weddings,  one that stood out especially was Kate from Wedding TV (That's them in the photo above by very talented photographer Lee allen),  Her Dad is very ill and they knew they didn't have the luxery of long term planning,  so they grabbed their wedding with both hands,  and put it all together in just 2 months! Amazing stuff.

Have a look at this gorgeous little wedding film,  Our letters look fab in it! Made for them by Studio 1208, WHO ARE AMAZING BY THE WAY!

We also had our first booking for our Light up funfair style heart,  and we swapped it's red/pink lights to BRIGHT pink!  Totally in love with the neon pink!  Polly the bride was a great girl,  we love a hands on Bride!  Polly and John are off on their honeymoon now for month in America and with a shared love of the TV show 'Man v's Food'  they are going to have a tasty time!  We are JEALOUS!!!

You can hire The 'Joined up Love' sign at the top of the page or our 'Funfair style heart with scroll' or something else! from us at www.vowedandamazed.co.uk

All the Wedding Fun of the Fair!

Yesterday we did our second wedding fair, 'Zoe Lem's Vintage Wedding Fair' and what a differance! It's was so nice to see so many people that just got it!  We  didn't need to explain ourselves, they just understood, ahhh lovely.

There were some great suppliers there too, Rebel Bakery had some amazing Burger cupcakes www.rebelbakery.co.uk, www.oohlalavintage.com had the most beautiful dresses and a fabulous silk sailor dress. We were set up opposite someone else who isn't afraid of overstatement, our friends Tatty Devine.  Here is Amy D running the show in a brilliant Bow Aliceband. www.tattydevine.com

We also got to use our supersize LOVE sign for the first time, it went rather well with these lovely ladies!

Here also is one of the official photos of our other new 'Love' sign made with funfair lights... The shoot was a few weeks before the wedding fair and was pretty exciting for us,  we got to meet 'Rhapsody Road' http://www.rhapsodyroad.co.uk/ photographers, so talented and friendly.

So don't forget it's all availible to hire for your event here www.vowed&amazed.co.uk

Whole lotta love!

Well we finally finished our funfair style light up heart and boy is it a gem!

We need a professional photographer to capture it because I’m having a really hard time getting it to look as amazing as it actually does in real life!  The glow that come off it is so pretty and it’s actually more a magenta not red.
The plan is, when you hire it we write your names ie: Jacqueline & Stuart’ on the scroll.

We've photographed it on this metal shutter because we love it's rusty green colour but it actually looks really good on the floor leaning against a wall, all casual like!

For our next project we were designing a sign that said ‘Mr & Mrs’ but We felt a bit uncomfortable with the presumption! So until we’ve got enough bulbs for ‘Mrs & Mrs’ and ‘Mr & Mr’ too, we’re just going to stick to an all encompassing ‘Love’ sign!

We’re just getting the finally touches finished on all the stuff for the wedding fair, and I’m (caroline) in the middle of painting a seaside cut out, to stick your wedded heads through….

We love our workshop! and a sneaky peek!

Yes, it is so cold in there at the moment that we could legally sue ourselves, but we still love our workshop!  It’s so special to us because it’s the place where we get to see our ideas come to life.  Our workshop is full of previous projects, past projects and pieces that we hope one day to finally have time to work on!...the camper van and the arcade machine to name but two.
Here’s a panoramic pic of our workshop…
It’s four times the size of our old one and we’ve still managed to fill it!  The biggest pieces in there are the giant tea cups, here’s a nice before and after picture of them…

You can hire them for your wedding if you’ve got the room! Just have a look at our website www.vowedandamazed.co.uk
Or how about a sneak peek of our newest piece being made….
Nearly ready to launch and just in time for our first wedding fair! At Court Garden House in Marlow Sunday 26th Feb. come along and see us if you’re near!

You Light Up My Life!

These are our lovely light up wooden letters! We've got the whole alphabet availible to hire!
The truth is most of the pieces...no not most... all of the pieces we make, we make because we secretly have a pretty big obsession with funfairs, old signs, theatre sets, cinemas,  pinball machines, magic tricks, old horror movies and too much more.... actually come to think of it, it's not that secret!

Never mind all the pieces we hire! have a sneek peek at some of our favourite pieces from our own house...

Bimbi is our kitten by the way!

Talking of funfairs, we are in the middle of making 2 amazing new pieces from funfair lights!  We can't wait to unveil them,  stay tuned!

www.vowedandamazed.co.uk  Letters to hire £90 per letter and a free '&' symbol email us at info@vowedandamazed.co.uk to reserve your letters for your date!

Photoshoot fun!

So on a freezing cold January day, we decided to get out the bouncy castle for a quick photoshoot for the upcoming wedding fair we are doing.  Obviously you can’t really fit an entire bouncy castle behind a 2ft table in a function room so it helps to have nice pictures!  We also happened to be in desperate need of a full length shot of the whole fabulous inflatable.

Incase you are wondering about the gorgeousness that are our models…. It’s the beautiful Newman’s our close friends.  Amy owns and runs ‘Handmade with Gay Abandon’ www.facebook.com/handmadewithgayabandon  the absolute bestest craft shop on the web , seriously sometimes I think she might get a sewing machine grafted onto her arm. She also happens to work at Tatty Devine and if you don’t know them, then where have you been your whole life! www.tattydevine.com
If you are interested in booking our castle then get in touch at info@vowedandamazed.co.uk  Prices from £180.
Oh and here’s a little outtake just for you!!!!....
